Learn to Play - Play to Learn

LADY BIRDS

In the Lady Birds group the staff: child ratio is 1:3.   We operate a keyworker system where every child is appointed a keyworker who will be responsible for planning, developing and reporting on your child’s development.  We use a software system called  “Learning Journals”, this will allow the keyworker to record written and photographic evidence of your child’s development and will allow parents  to access to this at there own convienience

We deliver Pre-birth to Three Curriculum and Forest School Principles

Experiences during a day may include:

  • Children being engaged with all that nature has to offer as well as actively being involved in a wide range of activities that encourage them to use their bodies in many different ways with lots of space and freedom to do so.
  • They will be able to walk, run, jump, balance and climb without barriers or boundaries to inhibit their natural instinct to play, explore, be creative and take managed risks.
  • They will be able to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and use all their senses as they experience the different textures and sounds of the earth.
